]]> The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) has released its annual publication ‘Trends 2025/2026’. Under the motto ‘Change is our constant companion’, seven key developments in the industry are highlighted. It is clear that internationalisation remains the foundation and isolation is not a trend. According to AUMA, even in times of crisis, cost pressure and global upheaval, the trade fair industry is considered a stable place for exchange, trust and innovation. Digitalisation, the use of AI and resource-saving investments are shaping the transformation of an industry that continues to rely on personal encounters. AUMA also uses facts and figures to demonstrate the importance of Germany as a trade fair location: more than 230,000 jobs depend on the industry, and two-thirds of all leading trade fairs worldwide take place in this country.
